Neatsfoot oil is a highly penetrating nourishing oil. On oiled leather, it helps to deeply rehydrate, soften, and prevent the leather from hardening or cracking as it dries. It can also restore a more vibrant appearance to dull leather. Caution: it can darken the color, sometimes noticeably, especially on light-colored leathers.
